‘Top Chef’ firm Magical Elves hires Burning Bright’s factual chief

Magical Elves, the Tinopolis-owned firm behind Bravo’s Top Chef and Netflix’s Nailed It!, has hired Dan Goldsack as EVP of development.

Goldsack will head up the development team, oversee all development across the company and report directly to co-CEOs Jo Sharon and Casey Kriley.

He joins having been head of factual entertainment at Burning Bright, where he led worked on shows including Joanna Lumley’s Home Sweet Home for ITV and When Ruby Wax Met… for the BBC.

Prior to that, he was head of development & executive producer for fellow Tinopolis firm Mentorn, where he developed reality and docuseries including An Idiot Abroad and Katie: My Beautiful Face.
