Court TV expands to UK’s Freeview

Legal news channel Court TV will launch on Freeview in the UK later this month.

The network provides viewers with in-depth legal reporting and expert analysis of high-profile trials in the US. Its expansion to Freeview follows a launch on Freesat in November 2020.

Court TV will be available from February 15 on Freeview channel 89, and launches ahead of one of the most important trials in modern US history.

The network, with its team of legal experts, will provide full coverage of the entire trial of Derek Chauvin, the Minnesota police officer charged with the murder of George Floyd – whose death sparked a summer of anti-racist protest action across the entire world.

Along with being available on Freeview and Freesat, the E.W. Scripps-owned Court TV is also accessible on Sky channel 177.
