Aparna Acharekar is Programming Head at streaming giant ZEE5 India, which offers more than 100 original series and thousands of hours of acquired Indian and international TV programming, as well as Bollywood movies and Hollywood content. Acharekar leads the streamer’s content team and has been with the group since 2006, having worked in media for more than two decades.
Andy Kaplan is Chairman at KC Global Media Entertainment, which recently acquired Sony’s Asian media networks, including AXN and Sony One. Kaplan was previously President of Sony Pictures Worldwide Networks, which counted over 4,000 employees at the end of his tenure and earned over $2.5bn in revenues. Kaplan is also Non-Executive Chairman of media firm Qyou India.
Saugato Banerjee is Managing Director of A+E Networks Asia, leading the expansion of the business across the region with oversight of long-form original production, digital content and channels. He has been with the organisation since 2011, leading the expansion of A+E’s footprint though multiple roles spanning strategy, business development, operations, digital and general management.
