Starzplay comes to Roku in UK, Mexico

Lionsgate-owned streaming service Starzplay is now available on Roku players and TVs in the UK and Mexico.

Roku users will gain access to Starz original historical drama series The Spanish Princess, as well as the upcoming drama Power Book II: Ghost – which is a follow-up to the recently concluded crime series Power – and the psychological horror Castle Rock, based upon the works of author Stephen King.

“Television viewers around the world continue to look for new ways to access premium content and this partnership ensures thousands of hours of exclusive Starzplay content is available to Roku users in Mexico and the UK,” said Superna Kalle, EVP of international digital networks for Starz.

“Starz is a popular entertainment destination on the Roku platform in the US and we are excited to bring their premium content to Roku users in UK and Mexico through its international streaming service,” said Yulia Poltorak, director of content distribution at Roku.
