Exclusive: Keshet, Talpa Global alum Cynthia Kennedy joins Vincent TV

Benelux production company Vincent TV has appointed former Keshet exec and Talpa Global SVP Cynthia Kennedy to head its sales division, TBI has learned.

Kennedy takes up the role from today having previously been SVP of licensing at Talpa Global. Prior to that, she was sales director at Keshet International and also worked for BBC Worldwide and Zodiak.

Vincent TV was established in 2014 to create and produce TV formats focused on humour, talent and topical stories for a broad audience.

Palace For A Penny

The company creates its own original IP with shows such as Verdict On Demand, Legal House Call, Chateau Meiland and Palace For A Penny, as well as importing third-party formats for adaptation in the Netherlands and Belgium, where it launched in 2018.

“In a short period of five years, the team at Vincent TV has achieved extraordinary things and brought much-loved content and characters to Dutch audiences,” Kennedy told TBI. “Now it is time for the world to discover these wonderful shows and formats, and I am delighted to have the privilege of bringing these to our clients and audiences around the globe.”

Vincent ter Voert, co-founder of Vincent TV, added: “It is a natural progression for a company like ours to expand the reach of our content beyond our Benelux borders, and in times like these it is especially important for people to have positive stories to enjoy across all the media they consume.

“We are pleased to welcome Cynthia to the Vincent TV team and are confident that with her track record she will make a valuable contribution to the growth of the business.”
