Blue Ant Media has appointed Stephanie Atlas as VP of digital content and programming for nature and kids.
In the newly created role, based out of Washington DC, the exec will direct the creative vision for both Love Nature and ZooMoo’s social media presence.
Atlas will report into LA-based Greg Kampanis, SVP and GM of digital for Blue Ant Media Global Networks, which includes natural history streamer Love Nature, children’s channel ZooMoo and Omnia Media.
Working cross-functionally with Washington DC-based Carlyn Staudt, EVP of Love Nature and programming and development, Atlas will also oversee programming and launch strategies for Love Nature and ZooMoo’s SVOD and AVOD products while leading digital strategies across YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
Most recently, Atlas headed her own firm, Atlas & Co, in which she designed campaigns such as PassBlue, a Facebook Live campaign covering women in peacekeeping in Afghanistan, as well as the Biden Cancer Summit, a social media campaign around developing cancer solutions.
Atlas previously worked at National Geographic as senior director for Culture + Exploration, in which she launched a digital brand featuring stories about the natural world, cultures and social change.
