‘All Together Now’ heads to Finland

All Together Now

Endemol Shine format All Together Now has cracked its 14th market with a sale into Finland.

Finnish commercial broadcaster Nelonen has commissioned a local version of the singing format, produced by Endemol Shine Finland.

The Remarkable TV-produced show, which originally aired on BBC One in the UK for two seasons, invited singers to compete for £50,000 ($63,000) by winning over a panel of 100 judges.

While the show was cancelled by the BBC over the summer, it has flourished globally, set to return in six markets including the Netherlands, Brazil, Italy, Denmark, Poland and the UK.

In the Netherlands, the show’s first season delivered an average audience of 1.1m (18.8%), which was up 28% on the primetime average, while in Norway the series premiere delivered a 34.1% share for the commercial target, and in Brazil it launched with an average 2.4m (12.9%), up 8% on Record TV’s primetime average.

The show is among Endemol Shine’s formats slate at MIPCOM this coming week.

Lisa Perrin, CEO of Creative Networks for Endemol Shine Group, said: “All Together Now has become one of our leading mega formats and this joyful show totally hits the sweet spot for broadcasters and audiences around the world. Not only is it continuing to travel to new markets but following successful launches we’re focusing on renewal deals this week in Cannes too.”
