Broadcasters in Brazil and Sweden have ordered local remakes of Endemol Shine Group’s culinary format MasterChef: All Stars.

Endemol Shine Brazil is set to produce a 10 x 75 minute version for Brazilian networks Bandeirantes and Discovery Home Health, while Endemol Shine Nordics-owned Meter TV will create the 8 x 44 minute Swedish show for TV4.

Endemol Shine Nordics-backed prodco Metronome DK has also confirmed it is working on a third season for TV3 in Denmark.

Lisa Perrin, Endemol Shine Group’s CEO of Creative Networks, said: “MasterChef: All Stars is a total celebration of one of the jewels in our cookery crown.

“The fact that we have three key territories signed up in such a short window is testament to how strong and adaptable the brand is. We look forward to seeing which returning chefs will reign supreme within each territory and welcoming more iterations soon.”

The show is spun off from the original MasterChef format, which has sold around the world including in the US and Australia, and features returning contestants competing against each other in a series of cooking challenges.

It is one of a number of culinary formats owned by Endemol Shine, which is also behind Family Food Fight and Ready, Steady, Cook. The latter was recently commissioned by the BBC following a decade-long hiatus.
