Doc streamer DocuBay expands distribution with Foxxum

Fledgling documentary streamer DocuBay has linked with smart TV solutions provider Foxxum for a distribution pact.

Under the deal, DocuBay will add its library to Foxxum-enabled devices worldwide, including across the UK and Europe.

Backed by IN10 Media, the Mumbai-headquartered OTT service specialising in documentaries will launch officially next month.

The DocuBay catalogue – which includes curated strands or ‘Bays’ focused on nature, action, travel, culture, science and sport – will be ‘deep linked’ on the Foxxum platform, and video thumbnails will be made available via a wide range of devices.

This collaboration strengthens our reach in Europe and UK. We continue to work toward providing the best of content across multiple screens with seamless user experience.”

Ronny Lutzi, CEO of Foxxum, added: “We are convinced that smart TV is the best form of home entertainment now and in the future, therefore we are very happy to contribute our expertise and outstanding services to DocuBay.”
