Fischer was previously head of content at the WDR mediagroup in Cologne, director of content sales at ProSiebenSat.1, sales manager at Sony Pictures in Munich and deputy head of sales of at ZDF enterprises in Mainz.
Her appointment follows the departure this month of Off the Fence’s Ludo Dufour, managing director of sales and co-productions for specialist factual programmes and premium docs, who has joined Blue Ant International in Los Angeles.
Based in Off the Fence’ headquarters in Amsterdam, Fischer will be responsible for representing 6,500 hours of programming from non-fiction producers and broadcasters including Terra Mater Factual Studios, Smithsonian Networks and WE TV.

Off the Fence, which produces and sells across a variety of non-ficiton genres, was acquired three months ago by ZDF Enterprises.
