Ameba TV scores 59-title package from Nelvana

Streaming service Ameba TV has struck a deal with Corus Entertainment’s children’s producer-distributor Nelvana for a raft of titles. 

The platform has secured 59 titles from Nelvana’s kids catalogue, including such programmes as 6Teen, Anatole, Babar, Babar and the Adventures of Badou, Being Ian, Blazing Dragons, Birdz, Braceface, Class of Titans, Di-Gata Defenders and Redwall.

New titles that will be available include a mix of TV series and films, including Babar: The Movie, Brace Face, Donkey Kong Country, Elliot Moose, Maggie and the Ferocious Beast, Maurice Sendak’s Little Bear, Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends, Pecola, and Pippi Longstocking.

Ameba TV, which is currently available only in North America, has more than 1,300 hours of children’s programming from over 200 international content providers. The streamer is available on Amazon Prime Channels, XBOX 360, Roku, LG Smart TV, Sony, Amazon Fire, TiVO, Opera.
