Mondo TV taps Rainbow for head of content sales

Mondo TV, the European producer and distributor of animated content, has hired Rainbow’s Luana Perrero as its new head of content sales.

In her new role, Perrero will be overseeing content sales strategy across Mondo TV’s library of properties including established hits such as Sissi the Young Empress, Yoohoo to the Rescue and Robot Trains, as well as new arrivals such as Meteo Heroes.

Based in Milan, the exec will report to Mondo TV CEO Matteo Corradi as well as the licensing division to strengthen the international presence of Mondo TV IP.

Perrero comes to Mondo with over 15 years’ experience in international content distribution – most recently with Rainbow, creator of Winx Club, where she was head of TV sales.
