Discovery has signed a significant deal with the UK’s Channel 4 to acquire a catalogue of Jamie Oliver and other lifestyle programming for Food Network, its free-to-air lifestyle and entertainment channel.
The deal includes thirteen new titles and the relicense of eight previously acquired titles.
Food Network will now carry Jamie’s Quick & Easy Food, Jamie’s Money Saving Meals, Jamie’s Super Food, Jamie Cooks Summerand Christmas specials Jamie’s Festive Feast, Jamie’s Ultimate Christmas, Nigella Christmas Special, River Cottage Christmas Special, Jamie’s Christmas Eve, Jamie’s Family Christmas and Jamie’s Italian Christmas.
Relicensed titles include Jamie Does, Jamie’s American Road Trip, Jamie’s Comfort Food, Jamie’s Great Escape, Jamie’s Ministry of Food, Jamie & Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast and Jamie’s Cracking Christmas.
