ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) has appointed NBCU’s David Wilcox as senior vice president of sales EMEA.
The exec will report in to Greg Johnson, executive VP of EMEA and the Americas, who completes his senior team after taking up the role at the beginning of the year.
Wilcox joins Mike Kelley, who is senior VP for the Americas and joined in April, as well as Jennifer Ebell, senior VP of EMEA, Jayne Redpath, Senior VP for the UK and Ireland and Kevin Morgan, who has stepped up to the role of SVP for UK home entertainment and global accounts.
Originally joining ITVS GE in 2005, Wilcox worked his way up to VP of sales for North West EMEA before he joined NBCU. He was most recently VP of sales liason for the Nordics and Benelux regions at NBCU.
“I’m extremely happy to welcome David back home to ITV and to finalise my senior sales team,” said Johnson. “David is not only familiar to many of us here already but also to our clients in EMEA, which means he will be able to hit the ground running due to his excellent relationships.
“As our exciting content becomes ever broader, his arrival means we are now perfectly placed as a group to maximise opportunities for our global buyers and develop new and lasting relationships across the world.”
Wilcox said: “I’m delighted to be re-joining ITV at this exciting time for the company. I have watched with interest in recent years as ITVS GE has grown substantially to build a broad portfolio of global content to complement their longstanding pipeline of the best of British TV Series. I look forward to working with the team and our partners to bring this content to viewers across EMEA.”
