Netflix to premiere Korean medical drama

Netflix has licensed Life, a Korean drama written by Lee Su-Yeon and directed by Hong Jong-chan and Lim Hyun-ook.

The streamer will premiere the first four episodes of the drama in APAC markets (excluding Japan) and English speaking regions (excluding US) on August 4.

Episodes five and six will stream on the same day as the Korean broadcast on August 6 and 7, followed by a regular weekly schedule.

All other territories excluding the US and Japan will premiere two episodes weekly every Monday at 9:30am PST and the US market will gain the title on September 12.

The medical drama tells the story of doctors who want to protect, save and defend what they think is right.

It stars Goblin’s Lee Dong-wook and Stranger’s Jo Seung-woo.
