Netflix orders Nomadic horror series

Netflix has ordered horror series The Order, produced by Nomadic Pictures.

The 10x 60 minute series follows college freshman Jack Morton as he joins a fabled secret society, where he is thrust into a world of magic, monsters and intrigue.

As Jack goes deeper, he uncovers dark family secrets and an underground battle between werewolves and the magical dark arts.

Created by Dennis Heaton, the series writer and executive producer will be Shelley Eriksen.

Joining as executive producers will be Chad Oakes, Mike Frislev, Heaton and David Von Ancken.

The Order will star Jake Manley (Heroes: Reborn), Sarah Grey (Legends of Tomorrow), Matt Frewer (Altered Carbon, Watchmen, Orphan Black), Sam Trammell (True Blood), and Max Martini (Training Day, Revenge).
