Named Run, the pilot is written by Jones and is about ex-lovers who made a pact that if they ever needed to escape their daily lives they would message each other “RUN” and disappear together. It’s announcement for development was made this February.
Entertainment One is to produce for HBO, with Jones and Waller-Bridge doing so for DryWrite and Emily Leo for Wigwam Films. Waller-Bridge will appear in a recurring role in the series as Flick.
Killing Eve, also created by Waller-Bridge, premiered this week. It appeared to be one of the most talked about titles during this week’s MIPTV market, as it sold to its latest network Canal +, joining BBC One and HBO.
