This effectively makes her deputy to Red Arrow chief creative officer Michael Schmidt, and gives her control of the creative operations team.
She will also focus on identifying and development TV formats within Red Arrow’s production companies and distribution arm Red Arrow International, and on roll out of global IP.
Etspueler has been with Red Arrow’s parent, ProSiebenSat.1, since 1999, initially as a talk show producer. She switched to the entertainment team in 2002 and was most recently senior creative producer.
Between December 2012 and October 2014, she worked as a producer on ProSieben format Cicrus HalliGalli.
The news comes in the same week Red Arrow formed a creative and strategic pact with producers Craig Armstrong and Rick Ringbakk and their new prodco, 10Fold.
