FremantleMedia India gets new MD

Aradhana BholaFremantleMedia India has gone in-house for a new managing director.

Aradhana Bhola (pictured) has taken on the role, and will report to FremantleMedia’s regional CEO for Australia and Asia Pacific, Ian Hogg.

The unit last had an MD in 2015, but the post had remain vacant since the exit of Anupama Mandloi.

Based in Mumbai and effective immediately, Bhola will be responsible for managing all development and production activities in India, and overseeing all relationships with broadcasters and digital platforms.

Bhola joined RTL Group-owned FremantleMedia in 2012 as creative director, three years after the Indian office had opened.

She has since overseen series such as India’s Got Talent for Colors, Indian Idol for Sony, Covershot for National Geographic and Angels of Rock for MTV, and was promoted to head of content in 2015.

Bhola was previously VP of programming at Star Plus and head of programming at Zoom.
