Fox promotes Gabay to new comedy post

Fox has promoted Jonathan Gabay to senior vice president of comedy development and programming.

Gabay was formerly vice president of comedy development and programming.

In his new position, he will be responsible for helping drive development efforts for the network’s comedy slate.

He will report to Suzanna Makkos, Fox’s executive vice president of comedy development and programming.

Gabay initially joined Fox in 2011 as a manager of comedy development, and continued on to become director, executive director and most recently VP.

He currently oversees Family Guy, The Mick and Ghosted. He also managed New Girl (pictured) and The Last Man on Earth for three seasons each.
