Ramsay in Hotel Hell

Hungary’s TV2 has become the new local home of Gordon Ramsay series The F Word, as buyers in Central and Eastern Europe snap up All3Media International programming.

TV2 has bought long-running UK series The F Word, which was for Channel 4 and from Optomen Television, along with other Ramsay-fronted programmes.

These are two 1x90mins specials from the Gordon Ramsay’s Christmas Cookalong franchise and 20-part series Gordon’s Ultimate Cookery Course. Both are from One Potato Two Potato, which Ramsay runs as a joint venture with All-owned Optomen.

All3 International sales manager for EMEA North Ben Packwood pointed to popularity of Ramsay’s programming, noting it was “proving its value again and again” and that The F Word USA had just begun broadcasting on Fox.

Elsewhere in Central and Eastern Europe, AMC Networks International has acquired a 77-hour package for Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

This comprises seasons of Big Dreams Small Spaces, Hotel Hell, The Great Interior Design Challenge, Undercover Boss USA and Gordon Ramsay’s Ultimate Home Cooking.

Poland’s ITI Neovison, FTV Prima in the Czech Republic and Croatian pubcaster HRT have also acquired programning packages from the sales arm of the UK’s All3Media.
