The move was facilitated by a deal between Mojicons distributor Ink Global and on-demand distribution specialist Janson Media.
It comprises the TV series and two upcoming films, and follows broadcast and digital deals across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and in Israel.
The Mojicons is a 3D series that reveals the behind-the-scenes world of text and email message ‘emoticons’. They go on a quest to find a digital villain who stops all electronic communication by stealing the ‘@’ symbol.
“Janson Media is proud to partner with Ink Group to release the The Mojicons on Amazon Video,” said Jesse Janson, executive vice-president for acquisitions at Janson Media.
“Everyone loves their emojis and The Mojicons bring these fun loving characters to life in a wonderfully produced children’s animation series. We look forward to launching the series this summer on Amazon Prime Video.”
