Turner buys rights to Italian short-form toon

Turner has acquired rights to a new short-form toon from Italian prodco European Television Service for a number of territories.

Glammys – School of Fashion Vlog will broadcast in Italy, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Monaco, Switzerland and French-speaking Africa.

The 13x2mins comedy series is the first from Italian indie European Television Series, with Extreme Football prodco Maga Animation creating the 2D look.

The girls-skewed, fashion-themed show is for 6-to-9-year-olds treats each episode as a video blog and features a different character presenting themselves to the audience through the fun adventures they have with school mates and teachers.

Turner will play the series on its Boing network.
