New free TV deal for Talpa’s latest format

Formats-logo-460_2The Story of my LifeTalpa’s The Story of My Life has won an order from Russian free-to-air broadcaster Channel One.

The show is billed as a talkshow with a twist and features celebrity couples who, through prosthetics and make-up are aged, allowing them to see what each other will look like in years to come.

Talpa’s sales arm launched the new show at MIPCOM last week, and a full series will launch on RTL4 in the Netherlands in 2017.

In Germany, Vox has ordered a local version of the show.

A special has gone out in the Netherlands featuring local celebrity and footballer Wesley Sneijder and his wife (pictured), the actor and presenter Yolanthe Sneijder-Cabau.

“It’s fantastic to see one of our key launches receiving such great feedback at MIPCOM, with two immediate commissions and many more currently in negotiation,” said Maarten Meijs, managing director of Talpa Global.
