Lisette Schlippe joins Turner in new role

Lisette Schlippe will head up Turner’s programme sales in the Benelux, Germany and Eastern Europe in a newly-created role at the company, director, content licensing.

lisette schlippeSchlippe joins Turner from Endemol Shine International where, in a six-year stint, she handled sales into Germany and the central and eastern Europe. Prior to that she was at 3DD and Zeal.

At Turner, Schlippe will sells shows from Turner nets including TNT, TBS, TruTV as well as kids channels including Cartoon Network.

She will report to Matthias Heinze, vice president, commercial, for Turner in Central and Eastern Europe and general manager for Turner in Eastern Europe.

Turner is a division of Time Warner and is best-known as a channel operator. It has begun putting greater emphasis on programme sales, with the likes of Schlippe coming in.

Last week it announced a MIPCOM slate that includes punk Shakespeare biopic series Will and female con artist series Good Behaviour. Both shows are upcoming for TNT.
