Scripps is launching three lifestyle channels on Cellcom’s pay TV offering in Israel.
Scripps Networks Interactive’s Food Network, Travel Channel, and Fine Living will all roll out on the Israeli IPTV service. They bow on Cellcom on September 1, and will be locally reversioned with Hebrew subtitles.
SNI has been greenlighting more talent-led shows, and launching channels in new territories, under Phillip Luff, the former Discovery exec who became Scripp’s EMEA chief last year.
Speaking about the Israel launches, Luff said: “With our full portfolio launching on Cellcom, we are confident that our localised content will resonate with new viewers, providing them with world-class lifestyle programmes that celebrate everything that is bold, fun and entertaining.”
