Netflix has bagged exclusive UK rights to The CW comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.
The first season of the series (pictured) has been added to the SVOD service following an agreement with CBS Studios International, the global sales arm of The CW co-owner CBS.
The show, created and starring Rachel Bloom and from CBS Television Studios, follows a young hotshot lawyer who gives up her high-powered job in Manhattan to move to West Covina, California, in search of a former boyfriend.
The news comes soon after Netflix concluded another deal with CBSSI to take right to the entire Star Trek back catalogue.
This comprises Star Trek, 1970s effort Star Trek: The Animated Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise, with all twelve Star Trek feature films added through a deal with CBS’s Viacom stablemate Paramount Pictures.
