The series reimagines classic literary characters such as Dr. Frankenstein and Dorian Gray in a dark Victorian London. It debuted two years ago ad concluded on Sunday night.
Desert Wolf Productions and Sam Mendes’ All3Media-owned Neal Street Productions coproduced the show, with CBS Studios International attached as distributor.
“John Logan deftly created a truly beautiful, brilliantly-written, epic drama series that has drawn a passionate fanbase to our network,” said Showtime CEO David Nevins. “After three fulfilling seasons, John has told the story he set out to tell and brought the series to a close in an incredibly poetic way.”
