MGM has promoted two of its international distribution team.
Deblina Chakrabarty and Guro Viddal have both been upped and will take executive director titles.
Chakrabarty will now have responsibility for TV sales in Spain. She will also continue to oversee Africa, Belgium, Greece, Ireland, Middle East and Portugal.
Viddal, who is upped from director, will have responsibility Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia and Turkey.
It has hitherto been best known as a seller of MGM movies and MGM-produced TV dramas including Fargo, Vikings and Teen Wolf.
MGM Television and Digital Group president Chris Ottinger (left) recently told TBI that the studio is making a ‘massive push’ into formats. “The goal in unscripted is to be the number one in IP [creation and ownership],” he said.
