DQ Entertainment taken off AIM

Kids-logo-460_2Producer and distributor DQ Entertainment has ceased trading on the AIM exchange.

JungleBook_425A regulatory announcement issued this morning revealed the kids content company has been taken off AIM as of today.

The company had previously told the market that it had been scouting for a nominated advisor, as required by the rules of AIM, but had failed in its search.

The financial changes were predicated, the company said, by a possible bond default and a proposed change of directors at the company.

Specifically, the company has convened a general meeting for the end of this month at which it will seek to appoint Anil Chintapalli and Suresh Chitturi as directors of the company, and to remove Sundar Srinivasa Raghavan and Rashida Adenwala.

AIM is a sub-market of the main London Stock Exchange and is used by small and medium sized companies. DQ will run as an unlisted company for the time being.

DQ’s shows include The Jungle Book (pictured) and The New Adventures of Lassie. It also coproduces series including Casper’s Scare School and Iron Man Armoured Adventures.
