FremantleMedia poaches Johansen from Rubicon

Formats-logo-460_2Screen Shot 2016-03-08 at 10.27.20FremantleMedia has hired Hegme Skjerven Johansen as head of development at its Norwegian operation, with the exec coming over from Endemol Shine prodco Rubicon.

Johansen will report to Petter Testmann-Koch, MD of FremantleMedia Norway, when she joins next month.

She will oversee the regional operation’s development efforts, working up new projects and adapting existing FremantleMedia formats for the local market.

Testmann-Koch said: “With Hege onboard, we’re even more excited about further establishing FremantleMedia’s presence in Norway and developing more local content.”

Johansen added: “After spending several years as a producer, I’m exciting to now be in a position to focus on the development of new ideas and titles from FremantleMedia’s impressive catalogue of formats.”

The FremantleMedia new recruit was part of Rubicon for 15 years and her credits include Extreme Home Makeover, Snabbgrabbar, Luxury Trap and most recently The Magic Body for NRK.

FremantleMedia Norway makes series including the local versions of Farmer Wants a Wife, Got Talent and Idol.
