The show will be hosted by Venezuelan chef Grace Ramirez (pictured) and explore food and cultural traditions across Latin America.
The 16x30mins series will be made by Producing Partners and debut on Food Network in Lat-Am this spring.
“We are focused on growing our slate of original productions in Latin America, creating local content that resonates with the regional audience,” said Adriana Alcantara, vice president of marketing and production, Latin America.
She added: “Destino Con Sabor fulfills this strategy – celebrating the culture and authentic cuisine of Latin America, while also providing new cooking techniques and original recipes.”
Food Network launched in Latin America in 2014 and is carried on pay platforms in twelve countries in the region.
In other Scripps news, Ettie Etela has been recruited as vice president research and insights for the business in the UK and EMEA region. She joins from Nielsen, and has previously worked at Discovery and Disney. At Scripps she replaces Paul McEvoy.
