News brief: Keshet catches Korean comedy

Israel’s Keshet International has acquired worldwide distribution rights to South Korean romantic comedy You Will Love Me.

KI will market both the 16x60mins finished series, which aired on Hynundai Media’s Drama H and Trendy channels towards the end of last year to strong ratings and digital media buzz. It will debut today at NATPE in Miami.

“You Will Love Me is our first cable drama series,” said Mi-Jong Jang, manager of international business at producer JIDAM, which did the deal with KI. “it is a heart-warming love story with a digital twist that proved irresistible to viewers in Korea.”
