Sky Vision strikes first-look with Ralf Little prodco

Sky Vision has inked a first-look development deal with LittleRock Pictures, the UK indie created by The Royle Family actor Ralf Little.

The distribution arm of pay TV operator Sky, Sky Vision, will provide development finding and support to the indie, and will sell all of its new content internationally.

The prodco has unspecified projects in development and these will come under the Sky Vision deal.

Little created LittleRock with Zoë Rocha, who was previously at Stephen Fry’s prodco Sprout.

“Setting up Little Rock has been a fantastic challenge and we are thrilled to have now secured a supportive distribution partner to further the company’s growth,” said Rocha. “We look forward to working with Sky Vision to develop our exciting slate of programmes for both the UK and international markets.”

Kylie Munnich, director of drama and comedy at Sky Vision, said that  “as our drama and comedy sales continue to rise, working with companies such as LittleRock allows us to expand our slate with the highest quality scripted content, for which we know there is a huge demand”.

Sky Vision already has first-look deals with indies including Roughcut TV, ACME Films and Spark Media Partners.
