News brief: Wuaki.tv adds indie movies

SVOD player Wuaki.tv has signed a deal with distributor Fusion Media Sales for a catalogue of independent movies.

The deal includes titles such as Grazing the Sky, My Skinny Sister and I Survived a Zombie Holocaust.

“Our customers tell us that they love our selection of curated local independent movies as much as Hollywood movies,” said Simon Homent, European content director at Wuaki.tv. “We believe that Fusion Media Sales can be an important content provider to bring strong local content to our platform.”
