News brief: Bloomberg gets Zig Zag biz show

Bloomberg Television’s move into commissioning has seen it commission Zig Zag Productions and Verchaix Media to coproduce a 12-part business series.

The show, Opportunity Africa, will air on Bloomberg in the EMEA region from May 2016. South African prodco Urban Brew Studios, with whom UK-based Zig Zag has a coproduction agreement, is also attached.

The series will look at African businesses to offer insight into the untapped potential on the continent and the challenges of creating success.
