News brief: Alhurra buys Prime content

US-operated Arabic-language channel Alhurra TV has acquired 208 episodes of celebrity and entertainment programming from France’s Prime Entertainment Group.

The package comprises 104 episodes of Hollywood News Feed and 104 of Zoom In, and covers 28 territories.

The Arabic versions of the shows will be available two days after the English-language originals.
