Tricon brings Counterfeit Cat to Cannes

Tricon React to ThatTricon’s kids distribution arm is launching a number of shows in Cannes next week.

On the Tricon Kids & Family slate are the 52x11mins Counterfeit Cat and Shutterbugs, 12x30mins React to That (pictured), 80x7mins / 1x20mins Fluffy Gardens, 1x60mins Summer Beach Bash II, 76x30mins Aqua Kids and 100x30mins Curiosity Quest.

Counterfeit Cat comes from Tricon Kids & Family and Wildseed Studios and was for Disney XD EMEA and Teletoon in Canada, and follows a young alien with uncontrollable superpowers destined to save the universe and a cat more interested in saving itself.

Shutterbugs is an animated preschool series from Tricon, Amberwood Entertainment and Big Jump Productions for TVO, Knowledge and Radio-Canada; while Nickelodeon series React to That, from Nick Cannon’s company NCredible and The Fine Brothers, features kids and adults reacting to web videos and take challenges based on them.

Meanwhile, Tricon has sold Zoo Clues is Turkuvaz Media Group in Turkey, MBC in Middle East, Noga in Israel, TVB in Hong Kong and Irib in Iran, with the latter also buying On the Spot. Wildernuts has gone to CSC Media in the UK.
