Foxtel eyes ratings spike with VIMN shows

Australian pay TV platform Foxtel has acquired a multi-title programming package from Viacom International Media Networks.

The shows, which were all commissioned for Viacom’s Spike, will air on Foxtel-operated channel A&E and include the 3x60mins Gym Rescue (pictured), 11x60mins Hungary Investors, 9x30mins Chainsaw Gang and two seasons of Catch a Contractor.

This is the first time VIMN and Foxtel have scored a package deal of this kind.

Furthermore, Foxtel has also bought MTV drama series Finding Carter for entertainment channel Fox8.
