The 52x11mins animated kids series launched on the ABC Kids channel earlier this year and is known as Bubble Bath Bay locally. The Essential Media-produced CGI show became one of the digital net’s top performers and Raydar will launch it internationally in Cannes.
The sales house also has CBeebies live-action series Teacup Travels for buyers. The Plum Films-produced storybook show transports the children in the show to ancient lands and civilisations.
Raydar is the boutique sales house founded by former Target Entertainment sales chief Alison Rayson, which formerly had a distribution pact with DLT Entertainment.
“Sydney Sailboat and Teacup Travels have achieved impressive ratings on ABC Kids and on CBeebies and are receiving a rapturous reception worldwide even at these early stages of their international launch cycle,” she said.
Raydar also has the L&M rights to both shows. Its other kids offerings for Cannes include Sprout series Olive the Ostrich, one-off live-action and animation hybrid Mouse and Mole at Christmas Time and romantic whodunit Girl Vs. Boy.
Bejuba! Entertainment, which represents the show in the US, has this week sold it to Sprout.
