Armoza hits ten, launches five new formats

The-Virgins-image1[3]Armoza Formats will launch five new properties at MIPCOM next month, as the Israel-based distributor celebrates its tenth anniversary.

The slate includes The Virgins (left), a new reality format in which three contestants per episode are filmed as they immerse themselves in a an experience for the first time in their lives. The hour-long show was originally commissioned by Israel’s Channel 10.

Live-from-my-Home-imageOut of Canada, there is Live From my Home (right), a strippable singing competition format in which contestants compete and perform in their own home. It originally launched on Canadian specialty net TVA and won its timeslot.

Studio Glam format Double or Nothing is also on the slate. The studio show pits two contestants against one across a variety of challenges.

Zagouri-Empire-2[3]Comedy format Zagouri Empire (left) scooped the Israeli Television Academy prize for Best Daily Drama and the family comedy-drama follows a group of relatives forced to work together to relaunch a food business.

The other comedy drama format on the slate is Karl & Max, about two regular guys who stumble upon a body, weapon and bag of cash, propelling them into a world of organised crime. It is about to go out on Club Illico and TVA in Canada.
