X Files reboot to debut at MIPCOM

An episode of Fox’s upcoming reboot of The X Files will screen at MIPCOM in Cannes next month.

Vendor 20^th Century Fox Television Distribution will present episode one of the sci-fi drama to buyers on Tuesday October 6 in the Grand Auditorium in the Palais des Festivals at 6.30pm.

The show is set to relaunch on Fox on US broadcast television early next year, 20 years after the first season of the original series. Creator Chris Carter and stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson all return for the new six-part run.

MIPCOM begins in Cannes, France this year on Monday 5 October. The weekend before hosts MIPFormats and MIPJunior.
