ITV Studios Finland poaches Yellow exec

ITV Studios Finland has poached Anna Hallenberg from Yellow Films & TV.

She joins the ITV Studios Nordic-owned producer to become its creative director and executive producer on September 21.

Hallenberg will oversee new programme development, reporting to ITVS Finland CEO Aram Aflatuni.

Heli Koskela, who previously oversaw development, has moved to a new post as head of entertainment.

While at Finnish indie Yellow, she produced talk show Antti Holma Show and live comedy Comedy Combat for MTV3, I Know What you Did Last Friday for Nelonen and local versions of The Apprentice and Big Brother Extra.

“I am confident that Anna and Heli’s extensive experience in developing and producing successful original and international formats will take us to the next level in producing entertainment shows,” said Aflatuni.

“ITV Studios Finland has already shown its capability to produce strong original formats like Bargain Battle as well as local versions of ITV Studios’ hit international formats like Big Star’s Little Star, which was recently recommissioned for a second series in Finland by TV5,” said ITVS Nordic CEO Hans Engholm.

“This appointment will enable ITV Studios Finland to continue to grow its slate of entertainment programmes.”

ITVS Nordic is part of the ITV Studios stable, which is owned by expansive British broadcaster ITV.
