My Entertainment hires Auerbach

US prodco My Entertainment has brought on David Auerbach as senior VP, international.

In the newly-created role, Auerbach will develop unscripted programming for the US market out of My Entertainment’s new LA office.

The new recruit was most recently at US producer and distributor Rive Gauche, where he was president of TV. Prior to that he was at Warner Bros.

As a producer, Auerbach’s credits include The Bachelor (ABC), America’s Best Dance Crew (MTV) and TMZ.COM.

My Television founder Michael Yudin said: “We have forged strong relationships with high quality independent international producers and have brought a senior exec on board to  work with them to co-develop original concepts for the US market.”

Auerbach added: “The My Entertainment strategy to partner with independent production companies around the world to develop original programming for the US is exciting and bold. I’m thrilled to be working with my good friend Michael Yudin to help turn his vision into a reality.”
