Endemol Shine North America co-CEO Charlie Corwin founded Original with Clara Markowicz in 2002, and five years later sold it to Endemol, which became Endemol Shine Group at the end of last year.

Weinstock and Hersh co-founded True in 2000 and sold to Endemol three years later.

“The most gratifying part of leading Original Media these last four months has been building a team of some of the most talented and industrious producers and executives in our business,” they said in a statement.

“In addition to elevating Brenda Hurley, who has been an integral part of True’s success, we are thrilled to welcome Nikki, Todd and Lisa, whose combined backgrounds represent many of the shows that propelled unscripted television into the zeitgeist.”
