Free streaming service Popcornflix has closed deals for wildlife and travel factual and documentary programming with distributors TVF International and Looking Glass International.
The deals hand the service programmes such as Untamed with Davey Hughes, the Wildest series, Road Cops and Commandos, and War Horse: The Real Story.
The shows have previously aired on the likes of National Geographic Channel, the BBC, Discovery Networks and Channel 4.
“With the success of our National Geographic genre, we were eager to bring our audience even more exciting documentaries,” said David Fannon, executive VP at Popcornflix.
“There is something universally appealing about an unfiltered look into the world around us, introducing us to places and people outside of our day-to-day experience.”
The Popcornflix app is available on Roku, Sony PlayStation PS3 and PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and other web-connected devices.
