News brief: E! set to Taiwan launch

NBCUniversal-owned channel E! Entertainment Television is to launch in Taiwan.

The NBCU International Television Networks-owned Western pop culture channel debuts in the territory on July 1 on linear and OTT platforms.

It will debut on cable provider CNS, OTT channel aggregator FTV and mobile platform Asia Pacific Telecom. The channel will be available with Chinese subtitles.

Overall the network is in 160 territories.
