News brief: Alfred Haber lands Wicked Tuna

Alfred Haber Television has picked up international rights to Nat Geo reality series Wicked Tuna.

The US-based distributor has already sold the show to RTL in Germany and French DTT channel RMC Découverte.

AHTI has lanced the free TV rights and will sell the popular series internationally. It will package 25 selected episodes of the show into a 25x1hr season one and two.

Wicked Tuna is popular on Nat Geo around the world. It follows the lives of commercial fisherman in New England as they fish for Atlantic Bluefin tuna.
