NBCUniversal prodco Monkey will make the six-part series and NBCU will sell it internationally. It will go out Channel 4’s youth-skewing E4 channel.
MIC:LA will follow cast members as they travel to Beverly Hills and join in LA’s elite social scene.
Executive producer Ros Coward says: “Whether they are hanging on beaches, shopping in Beverly Hills or partying on Sunset Boulevard I’ve no doubt we’ll see everything we love about Made in Chelsea but times 100.”
The original Made in Chelsea will hit the 100 episode mark on E4 later this year. The new spin-off will go out on the channel this summer.
