Burnett closes Generation Gap with Televisa

Mark Burnett at MIPTVProducer Mark Burnett is working with Mexico’s Televisa on a new format in which families square off in order to win a cash prize.

Generation Gap has been commissioned by Televisa, and its production unit, Televisa Entertainment, will work with Burnett on production and distribution.

Televisa International will shop the format on the global market, in conjunction with MGM, which last year bought Burnett’s One Three Media Group and relaunched the United Artists brand.

Burnett is in town at MIPTV, in part launching new ABC format 500 Questions.
